Rusmur Floors, a retail flooring company with five locations in the Pittsburgh area, wanted to launch a campaign to specifically promote the residential side of their flooring business by making direct contact and engaging with potential customers in the region.
In an effort to reach the largest number of potential customers possible, we proposed an integrated social media campaign that included profiles on Facebook, Pinterest and Google+ as well as a blog on the Rusmur Floors website.
A key strategy for this campaign is to position Rusmur Floors as an expert in not just flooring, but all things home and family – Including interior decorating tips, easy DIY projects, family fun ideas and more. By doing this, we’ve created a resource for audience members to return to again and again for all of their home needs, including new flooring.
In addition, we have created a Facebook advertising campaign that has allowed us to directly promote Rusmur Floors’ flooring expertise, services and physical locations. As the campaign continues, we will be adding new platforms to the mix, including LinkedIn and Instagram, and expanding the content strategy to include holidays and other seasonal tips, tricks and ideas. We are also planning platform based contests for Pinterest and Instagram that will be implemented in the coming months.
